WEEKEND BOX OFFICE: The Girl on the Train topped the chart with 24.7MM, a debut good enough that it likely won't depend on overseas markets to profit, though a notch or two behind a similar movie, Gone Girl, in this frame.  Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children showed with 15MM, a 48 percent drop from its debut and a showing underscoring its need for foreign receipts.  Deepwater Horizon showed with 11.7MM on a 42 perecent drop, and is even less likely to benefit from foreign markets, given the subject-matter. The Magnificent Seven remake took the fourth slot with 9.1MM on a 41 percent drop, but this one likely profits based on overseas sales.  Storks rounded out the Top Five with 8.4 million and still looks unprofitable, despite crossing 100MM worldwide.
