CHADWICK BOSEMAN, the regal actor who embodied a long-held dream of African-American moviegoers as the star of the groundbreaking superhero film “Black Panther,” died on Friday at his home in Los Angeles. He was 43.  Social media widely circulated his bit on The Tonight ShowBlack Panther filmmaker Ryan Coogler wrote a tribute.

JOE RUBY, who created cartoon series including "Scooby-Doo" along with his partner Ken Spears, died of natural causes Wednesday in Westlake Village, Calif. He was 87.
