WEEKEND BOX OFFICE: Crazy Rich Asians repeats atop the chart with 25MM on an astoundingly leggy 6 percent drop. This sort of thing usually doesn't happen unless your second weekend contains a holiday. It's almost certain to clear 100MM domestic, an amazing feat for a rom-com these days. Next week is a holiday, with no serious competition, so expect the rich to get richer. The Meg places with13MM on a 38 percent drop, again reflecting the lack of competition in the dog days of cinema. The Happytime Murders shows with 10MM against a reported 40MM budget. In the fourth slot, Mission: Impossible - Fallout takes in another 8MM on a leggy 26 percent drop as it closes in on 200MM domestic.
