WEEKEND BOX OFFICE: The Fate of the Furious easily topped the holiday chart with 100.2MM dollahs; that's considerably less than the prior installment, but that one was also the late Paul Walker's swan song.  It's higher than F6 and worldwide, F8 is already over half a billion.  The Boss Baby placed with 15.6MM; that's a distant second but a leggy 41 percent drop.  Beauty and the Beast showed with 13.6MM on an almost-as-leggy 42 percent drop as the film runs thru the billion-dollar milestone globally.  Smurfs: The Lost Village takes the fourth slot with 6.5MM on a 50 percent drop, but with a worldwide total over 95MM to date.  The remake of Going In Style rounds out the Top Five with 6.4MM on a surprisingly steep (for a senior-targeted comedy) 47 percent drop.
