WEEKEND BOX OFFICE: Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children topped the chart with 28.5MM, a result likely disappointing for both the studio and director Tim Burton; it's result much like the debut of A Series of Unfortunate Events, which would be unfortunate for both.
