WEEKEND BOX OFFICE: Deadpool threepeats atop the chart with 31.5MM and is now the third biggest R-rated movie (behind Passion of the Christ and American SniperGods of Egypt placed with 14MM against a 140MM budget, so safe to say this was a nuclear bomb. It will probably not be Lionsgate's post-Hunger Games franchise, even though its exposure was a fraction of that budget (10MM plus marketing costs). Kung Fu Panda 3 shows with a leggy 9MM.  Risen takes the fourth slot with 7MM and has ercouped its production budget.  The faith-based historical drama has yet to test overseas markets.  Eddie the Eagle rounds out the Top Five with 6.3MM against a 23MM budget; I suspect UK receipts will ensure this ends up in the black.
