OSAMA BIN LADEN STILL DEAD: Celebs react!

TURKEY: President Abdullah Gul said he was "satisfied" that Osama bin Laden had been killed. Aydin Tamak, a top military commander of the Turkish terror group Hezbollah, was arrested by Serbian police at the Hungarian border, hiding in a truck bound for Germany.

PALESTINIAN TERRITORY: Hamas prime minister Ismail Haniyeh praised Osama bin Laden as a Muslim warrior and condemned the US for killing him. Clearly, we must do more peace processing.

PAKISTAN: As the details of the raid that killed Osama bin Laden begin to emerge, one thing is clear: Pakistan's military and intelligence services must have known for some time where the terror leader was hiding from the US and the rest of the Coalition.  More on this at The New Yorker.  Meanwhile, the Pakistani Taliban have put the Pakistani state at the top of their hit list.

AFGHANISTAN: While senior political figures welcomed the news of Bin Laden's death, they cautioned that it did not necessarily translate into an immediate military victory over the Taliban, and urged the United States and NATO not to use it as a reason to withdraw.
