It's particularly good considering that Friday laso saw the releases of the final Harry Potter video and the latest Call of Duty videogame.  Jack & Jill, despite awful reviews, brought out the standard Adam Sandler fan club with their usual 26 million.  Puss In Boots continued to show legs with 25.5 million, a mere 23 percent drop after last weekend's tiny 3 percent drop; the animated cat now has made 108.8 million domestic against a 130 million budget.  The cat may even beat Sandler when the final receipts are tallied.  Tower Heist took the fourth slot with 13.2 million, with a 45 percent drop that's awfully steep for a comedy.  J. Edgar rounds out the Top Five with 11.5 (though it's really 11.7 when you count the early, limited release.  I wonder whether a Hoover biopic will do as well internationally as Eastwood's prior pics.
