13 SONGS About Losing Your Virginity. There Will Be Meatloaf.

WEEKEND BOX OFFICE: Iron Man 3 dwarfed all competition with 175.3 million, the second-highest opening ever afterThe Avengers.  IM3 already has a worldwide gross of 680.3 million -- easily beating the total grosses for the first two Stark sagas.  It will likely finish somewhere around the 5th to 7th all-time grosser... until 2015 brings and Avengers sequel, anyway. Marvel magic plus Disney marketing = Box Office Gold, Jerry. Pain And Gain placed a distant, distant second with 7.6 million on a 62.5 percent drop.  42 shows with 6.2 million.  Oblivion heads there with 5.8 million (thanks the marketers for opening this abroad well ahead of Iron Man).  The Croods round out the Top 5 with 4.2 million.

REESE WITHERSPOON: Bonus crazy arrest video.

JAIME KING and husband Kyle Newman are expecting their first child later this year.

SNOW WHITE & THE HUNTSMAN could become a trilogy. Sigh.

THE UNITED STATES: The FBI has found radical Islamist material, including al Qaeda's online magazine, on the computer of the widow of slain Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev.

SYRIA: anonymous Obama administration officials now tell the New York Times the President's comments about a "red line" in Syria was an ad-lib. Oh boy. Regardless of whether this is truth or spin, and whatever one thinks about US involvement in Syria, or about the Obama administration, one has to wonder how the world's less rational regimes will take this sort of story.

EGYPT: The secular opposition is reaping scant benefit from the Muslim Brotherhood's difficulties in government.

LIBYA: An armed militia attacked and broke up a meeting of government supporters in Benghazi.
