NINE BOOKS that inspired Punks.

WEEKEND BOX OFFICE: Captain America: The Winter Soldier tops the chart again with 41.4 million. That's a 56 percent drop from its debut, but some of that is due to the inclusion of Thursday screenings last weekend.  The Cap sequel already has earned 159 million domestic and 317 million overseas -- compare this to the original's total run of 176 million domestic and 194 million overseas grosses for a sense of how big this is.  Cap also kept Rio 2 out of the top slot, as the animated sequel debuts with 39 million.  That's about what the original made in its debut weekend, but this number should be more front-loaded with fans of the first one, which bodes less well for its legs in theaters.  That said, these Fox/Blue Sky Studios flicks tend to do much better overseas, where Rio 2 has 124.3 million in ticket sales already. Oculus shows with 12 million against a 5 million budget, suggesting it will make money despite a bad CinemaScore.  Draft Day takes the fourth slot with 9.75 million, which isn't a flob, if the reported 25 million budget is accurate (an NFL movie likely has limited appeal overseas).  Divergent passes Noah to claim the bottom of the Top 5 with 7.5 million; despite these middling grosses, Lionsgate announced it will proceed to make 3 more films from the two remaining books in the trilogy.

PRINCE WILLIAM & KATE MIDDLETON: Expecting a second child?

GINNIFER GOODWIN & JOSH DALLAS: The Once Upon a Time costars were married over the weekend.

JOHNNY DEPP has been dragged into a bizarre criminal case by a lawyer who wants to prove his client is insane.

HILARY DUFF was all smiles at Coachella in Indio, Calif. with estranged husband Mike Comrie on Friday.

VENEZUELA:Troops in Venezuela’s capital Caracas fired tear gas and rubber bullets as hundreds of people protested. The demonstration came days after Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro hosted opposition leaders for talks to put an end to months of political unrest.

SYRIA: UN Ambassador Samantha Power said that recent reports of a poison gas attack in Syria are "unsubstantiated" so far.

LIBYA: Newly appointed Prime Minister al Thinni announced his resignation after gunmen attacked his house last night and stole his car, but he agreed to serve until the GNC names his replacement.

ELK vs PHOTOGRAPHER: Who you got?
