Then again, Robert Springborg, a professor of national security affairs at the Naval Postgraduate School, thinks the military has already won.

YEMENI leader Ali Abdullah Saleh, under pressure to stand down, said on Wednesday he will freeze constitutional changes that would have seen him become president for life.

SYRIA: Calls for protests on Friday and Saturday are spreading on social media websites, following popular uprisings in Tunisia and Egypt.
