WEEKEND BOX OFFICE:  Abominable tops the chart with 20.9MM, another in a long string of hits for Universal this year. This one had a diverse domestic audience and also should travel well overseas. Downton Abbey (from Focus, a Universal branch) places with 14.5MM, on a 53 percent decline that's closer to 46 percent once you account for Thursday night premiere numbers; that seems pretty good for a likely front-loaded pic with a cult fan base. Hustler, which was fifth last week, shows with11.5MM on a 32 percent drop in an already profitable run. It: Chapter Two takes the fourth slot with another 10.4MM on a 39 percent drop as it heads for 200MM domestic (and perhaps a second wind as Halloween approaches?).  Ad Astra rounds out the Top Five with 10.1MM on a 47 percent drop, which seems disappointing.
